We are a therapist owned company, dedicated to providing specialized Speech and Swallowing services to our South Florida community. Our goal is to increase access to evidenced based, high quality evaluation and treatment, for patients with speech and swallowing difficulties.
We understand how important it is to find reliable and dedicated providers, and to schedule services in a timely manner. Our concierge style services aim to provide that high level of care in a compassionate manner, and with no additional charges.
OUR FOUNDER
Speech and Swallowing Specialists of Florida was founded by Isabel Ramati, M.S., CCC-SLP, a Certified Speech Language Pathologist with over 15 years of experience in the medical setting. She has extensive experience in dysphagia diagnostics, including videofluoroscopy and videoendoscopy.
Isabel prides herself in providing high quality, evidenced -based services, advocating for the needs of her patients and their families, and providing excellent customer service. She is a strong believer in improving patients’ quality of life and their overall health.
In addition to being a full time therapist, mother of two, and a loving wife, Isabel is an active participant in several community organizations, including the American Parkinson’s Disease Association, the ALS Association, and participates in advocacy initiatives for patients with Head and Neck cancer.
Isabel also maintains a close relationship with SLP and ENT colleagues in her native Colombia and throughout South America, and routinely engages in remote teaching and consultation activities.
